Best products/styling routine for 2B/2C-, low porosity, coarse width, & high density.

I am a 16 year old male and my hair just sucks, I don't do a lot with my hair besides put water but it dries out no matter what I do. I recently started putting mousse but at the end of the school day my hair would just dry out. It seems any product I put in my hair makes it hard and crunchy like if im putting gel inside my hair. Ive even tried a curl cream called noodle hair and it just dries out my hair making it shrink a bit and hard and crunchy. Don't even get me started about the frizz...
